How to Get the Umbrella in Fortnite Battle Royale

Recommended Videos

Fortnite Battle Royale has brought a PUBG-like experience to consoles in a free-to-play format. Though it may sport a cartoon visual style rather than the realistic look of PUBG, the gameplay largely remains the same, even down to dropping into the map from above. One thing that people have been noticing is a growing number of players gliding down onto the map with an umbrella rather than the typical glider.

In order to get this stylish item in Fortnite Battle Royale, you’ll need to be the last man standing in a match. By winning a game, your character will automatically be rewarded with the umbrella, letting your opposition know they’re messing with a survivor. It’s worth noting, however, that if you win a game in solo in Fortnite Battle Royale, your character will only descend with the help of the umbrella in future solo games. If you want this stylish item in squad games, too, you’ll need to win a match as part of a team.

And that’s all you need to know to get the umbrella. For more on Fortnite Battle Royale and the regular game, be sure to check out our wiki.
