How to View Support Conversations in Fire Emblem Three Houses

As you build support links you’ll be able to view conversations at any time, when characters have them available that is. In order to view these conversations press X to bring up the pause menu, select the Support option, and it’ll bring up a list of all your available units.

Any unit that has an available support conversation will have a speech bubble icon next to their name, so just pick the unit, then select who they can have a conversation with, and you’re in business.

It’s always in your best interest to view support conversations, as high support links mean units can strengthen and buff each other more in battle when fighting next to one another. Like the past few Fire Emblem games, these conversations also simply have some of the best and funniest moments for characters in the entire game.

From the title screen, you can also hit the Extras option to view past conversations that you’ve already unlocked.

How to Build Support Links

Of course, if you want to view support conversations you’ll first need to build support links to unlock them. Luckily, Fire Emblem Three Houses provides more ways than ever to do just that.

The first way will be familiar if you’ve played Fire Emblem, as support links will build as units simply fight next to each other in battle. Anytime a unit takes an action, while next to a character they can build support with, their link will get a small boost.

There’s a variety of other ways though, all themed around the new options available in Three Houses. Here all of your options for boosting supports,

  • Share meals in the Dining Hall
  • Do activities together, like choir practice or group projects during lectures
  • Offer praise to students during lectures when a student gets a Perfect with lessons
  • Answer correctly when reading Advice Notes from students
  • Give the appropriate gift to a student
  • Return lost items to the rightful owner

Each of these will give you a boost with that particular student, so there’s a lot of options this time around.
