Tactical RPG fans rejoice, as the Fire Emblem series is finally making its way to the Nintendo Switch console. Here’s how to use Divine Pulse and rewind time in Fire Emblem Three Houses.
How to Get Divine Pulse
At the very start of the game, you’ll be introduced to Sothis, who grants you the power of the Divine Pulse. This ability allows you to rewind time in battles, allowing you to redo moves and erase any mistakes you might’ve made.
It’s an incredibly useful ability to have on hand, especially when you consider the fact that some battles can easily drag on for more than 30 minutes. Being able to rewind time will allow you to quickly undo the past couple of moves, without requiring you to waste time and start the battle all over again.

To use the ability, all you have to do is hit the ZL button. This will allow you to scroll through a text menu of all the moves your units and your enemies have made so far.
The nice thing about Divine Pulse is that you can go as far back in the battle as you like, even to the start of the battle if that’s what you want to do.
The catch is that this ability only has a limited number of uses. At the start of the game, you’ll only be able to use it two or three times. However, if you invest renown points into restoring the statues at the Monastery’s cathedral, you can increase the number of Divine Pulse charges you get, making it even more invaluable.
That’s all you need to know about how to use Divine Pulse and rewind time in Fire Emblem Three Houses. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our Fire Emblem Three Houses guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
