Auto-Driving – Final Fantasy XV

Recommended Videos

Driving the Regalia in Final Fantasy XV can be painfully boring. Thankfully, you don’t always have to manually drive the car yourself. Aside from just fast traveling to wherever you need to go, you can also get Ignis to drive you around. To do this, simply head to the Regalia and tap the interact button. Instead of choosing Manual to drive the car on your own, choose the Auto option to have Ignis take the wheel instead. Once you do this, you can select a waypoint for Ignis to drive to. You can select either your quest location, an outpost location, or set a new waypoint for Ignis to follow. After selecting your desired location, the game will ask if you’d like to fast travel there for 10 Gil, provided you’ve already unlocked that location. Decline the offer, and Ignis will start the car.

However, do note that the auto-drive function is only available during the daytime. Once night falls, Noctis will have to take the wheel himself. While you’ll most likely rest up at camp or in a motel during the night, it’s still good to keep in mind that all driving will have to be done manually once the sun sets.
