FIFA 19 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) Predictions

FIFA 19 has been out for a few weeks now and the promo events are coming thick and fast. FUT Swap, Ones to Watch, and Champions League players have already been released, alongside the usual Team of the Weeks. This week, beginning Oct. 8, is time for FIFA 19 Team of the Week 4. Here are our FIFA 19 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) predictions, having looked at the best performing players from this weekend’s matches.

FIFA 19 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) Predictions – Goalkeeper

  • David Ospina – GK – Napoli – 82 OVR – Man of the match award and seven saves vs. Sampdoria

FIFA 19 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) Predictions – Defenders

  • Wilson Manafa – LB – Portimonense – 76 OVR – Goal and assist in 4-2 win vs. Sporting, who are rapidly falling after their troubled summer.
  • Matt Doherty – RB – Wolves – 79 OVR – Scored the winning goal in Wolves’ 1-0 win vs. Crystal Palace. He recently won fans player of the month, but I think Eden Hazard will still win the FIFA related reward, and Doherty will get the shout out in TOTW 4.
  • Christopher Schindler – CB – Huddersfield Town- 81 OVR – Scored the equaliser for Huddersfield at Turf Moor, which is only the fourth goal they’ve scored this season.
  • Ezequiel Garay – CB – Valencia – 84 OVR – Scored the opening goal in Valencia’s 1-1 draw vs. Barcelona.

FIFA 19 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) Predictions – Midfielders

  • Ross Barkley – CM – Chelsea – 82 OVR – Making a rare appearance in Chelsea’s midfield, Barkley got a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win vs. Southampton.
  • Eric Dier – CDM – Tottenham Hotspur – 84 OVR – Only goal in 1-0 win.
  • Marcel Sabitzer – CAM – RB Leipzig – 84 OVR – Scored once and assisted once in 6-0 demolition of Nuernberg, bringing his team back to form.

FIFA 19 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) Predictions – Forwards

  • Kylian Mbappe – RW – Paris Saint Germain – 88 OVR – Scored four times in a 5-0 win vs. Lyon. Absolute certainty for TOTW 4 and a fan favorite in the game already.
  • Alexandre Lacazette – ST Arsenal – 86 OVR – This was a tricky one. Yes, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came off the bench to grab two goals and an assist vs. Fulham, but Lacazette started, scored twice, and went away with the MOTM award. It’s possible that both get in, especially considering Auba’s popularity and pack selling ability this year, but Lacazette has been on fire recently, and I’ll think he’ll get the nod. Aaron Ramsey is a possibility too for his wonder goal and assist.
  • Gonzalo Higuain – ST – AC Milan – 89 OVR (OTW → 89) – Scored twice in Milan’s 3-1 win, taking his tally to six for the season.

FIFA 19 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) Predictions – Other Options

  • Mauro Icardi – ST – Inter Milan – 88 OVR Both goals in 2-1 win.
  • Paco Alacacer – ST – Borussia Bortmund – 84 OVR – Hat-trick in 4-3 win.
  • Hakim Ziyech – CAM – Ajax – 84 OVR – One goal and one assist in 5-0 win.

That’s it for our FIFA 19 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) predictions. Be sure to check EA Sports’ Twitter at 10am ET on Wednesday for the full team, and they’ll be in packs from 1pm the same day. For more on the game, check out our FIFA 19 wiki guide.
