Ratings Refresh Predictions for FIFA 18 Ultimate Team

The Ratings Refresh is coming soon to FIFA 18 Ultimate Team to make the in-game player ratings more representative of the real footballing world. As in previous years, brand-new base cards will be added to the database and packs that replace some of the originals that have been in the game since last September.

You will no longer be able to pack the original cards of the players that have been upgraded, but any that already exist will remain at the original rating. Any cards that are packed from now on will be at the upgraded level and any already existing special cards will be upgraded in-line with the usual upgrade pattern and the Ratings Refresh changes. Here’re some of the players we think will get an upgrade when the FIFA 18 Rating Refresh goes live:

Premier League Ratings Refresh Predictions for FIFA 18 Ultimate Team:

  • Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) – 83 → 85 (possible weak-foot upgrade 2-star to 3-star), 85 RW Hero → 86, 86 ST In-form→ 87, 88 POTM → 89, 89 OTW/In-form → 90.
  • David De Gea (Manchester United) – 90 → 91, 91 In-form → 92, 92 In-form →93, 97 TOTY → no change.
  • Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) – 89 → 90, 90 In-form → 91, 91 TOTGS → 92, 96 TOTY → no change.
  • David Silva (Manchester City) – 87 → 88, 88 In-form → 89, 89 In-form → 90, 90 In-form → 91.
  • Harry Kane (Tottenham) –  86 → 88, 87 In-form → 89, 88 TOTGS → 90, 89 In-form/POTM → 91, 91 POTM → 92, 96 TOTY → no change.
  • Kyle Walker (Manchester City) – 83 → 84, OTW → 84.
  • Nicholas Otamendi (Manchester City) – 83 → 85, 85 In-form → 86, 86 In-form → 87.
  • Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) – 83 → 85, 85 TOTGS → 86, 86 In-form → 87, 87 In-form → 88.
  • Heung Min Son (Tottenham) – 82 → 83, 84 In-form → 85, Other In-forms stay the same.
  • Fernandinho (Manchester City) – 82 → 84, 84 In-form → 85.
  • John Stones (Manchester City) – 79 → 81, 82 TOTGS → 83
  • Jesse Lingard (Manchester United) – 78 → 80, 82 Futmas/In-form → 83.
  • Cenk Tosun (Everton) – 78 → 80, OTW → 80
  • Abdoulaye Doucouré (Watford) – 78 → 80
  • Ben Mee (Burnley) – 78 → 79
  • Fabian Delph (Manchester City) – 77 → 79 (possible change to LB)
  • Ashley Young (Manchester United) – 75 → 78, No change to In-forms.
  • Callum Wilson (Bournemouth) – 75 → 77, No change to In-forms.
  • Nathan Ake (Bournemouth) – 75 → 78, No change to In-forms.
  • Aaron Mooy (Huddersfield) – 77 → 80, No Change to In-forms.
  • Jordan Pickford (Everton) – 77 → 79
  • Harry Maguire (Leicester City) – 75 → 78

There will inevitably be more changes, and possibly some different ones, than we have predicted, but we will release the full list once it has been announced by EA Sports.
