How to Use Trusts in Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers

The new “Trust” system in Shadowbringers makes it easy for players to enjoy story dungeons and the main questline without having to team up with other people who are also playing the game. This lets you team up with NPC’s to tackle dungeons solo, with unique AI and dialogue from various characters.

You can use the Trust system for all story dungeons in Shadowbringers and you can even revisit dungeons you’ve already completed and bring along some NPC’s with you.

To get into dungeons by way of the Trust system, select the “Duty” button from the main menu located on the bottom right of the screen, and then go ahead and click on “Trust.” This will then take you the Trust menu, where you can select party members from a list of NPC’s. You can start the dungeon by selecting “Register for Duty.”

If it’s your first time entering a dungeon, you will see several allied NPC’s standing outside the entrance. Just speak with them and you’ll be able to add them to your party.

Your parties must consist of one tank, one healer, and two DPS, and make sure that you are not in a party with other human players as you won’t be able to use Trusts if so.

That’s everything you need to know about how to use trusts in Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers. For more on the expansion, keep checking back here at Twinfinite.
