FFXIV Endwalker: How to Get Almasty Fur

Endwalker is the fourth and latest expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, and it’s finally out in the wild. The Scions are finally traveling to new locations such as Old Sharlayan and Radz-at-Han, and there are quite a few new dungeons and trials to take on as well. Aside from that, there are also plenty of new materials for crafters and gatherers to play around with. Here’s how to get Almasty Fur in FFXIV Endwalker.

Getting Almasty Fur in FFXIV Endwalker

Almasty Fur is a new type of resource that you can get in the new Endwalker zones, and it’s used in various crafting recipes as well. There are two ways to get the Fur in the game, and we’ve listed them below:

• By killing Almasty Yetis
• By purchasing them from Gemstone Traders

Almasty Yetis spawn in Garlemald, at the coordinates X:32.4, Y:28.8. Kill them for a chance to obtain Almasty Fur, but do be warned that this process is pretty RNG-heavy, so you might have to farm a while to get your drops.

Alternatively, you can also purchase them from the Gemstone Trader NPC at coordinates X:13, Y:30. You’ll need Bicolor Gemstones, which are obtained by completing FATEs in any of the Endwalker zones. You can purchase one Fur with two Bicolor Gemstones, and we definitely recommend this method as it’s much more reliable than trying to farm the Yetis.

How to Use Them

The Almasty Fur is primarily used for the new Weaver crafting recipe: Almasty Serge. You’ll need four Furs and eight Lightning Crystals to craft one Almasty Serge, which can then be used to craft various types of armor and equipment in the game.
