Ubisoft’s been adding in microtransactions to the series since the fifth game, and they’re continuing the trend with New Dawn. This spin-off has tons of extra cosmetics you can purchase with something called Far Cry credits.
This is an in-game currency used to buy items such as Prestige weapons, vehicles, and clothes at any boatshed, garage, helipad, or workbench. You can find Far Cry credits in New Dawn in every one of the treasure hunts. These missions are indicated by NPCs with a green diamond over their heads.
