Oluso is easily the coolest Amigo in Far Cry 6, essentially a supernatural jaguar that can melt into the shadows and darkness and tear your enemies limb from limb. It also just loos bad-ass and Yarans will comment on how mystical it looks as you walk past them. Getting it, however, requires you to complete the Far Cry 6 Triada Blessings quest, though, and we’ll talk you through how to complete it here.
Oluso is the only amigo in Far Cry 6 that is unlocked by completing a relatively hidden quest. To unlock it, you’ll need to complete the Triada Blessing quest, which can be started on Isla Santurio, the tutorial island you start your adventure on.
Far Cry 6 Triada Blessings Part 1 Quest Guide
To start this quest, head to Oluwa Cave. We’ve marked the location on the map below.
Here, you’ll find a cave tucked away at the bottom of the big canyon of the area.
Go inside and make your way through until you reach a room a note by a white triangle and other markings on the floor.
Open the chests in this room to get the Eternal Dance wrist gear, Oluwa’s Heart chest gear and Hidden Histories Holy Pages.
With all of this done, you should now have the Triada Blessings quest and you can start finding the three Triada Relics. We’ve guided you through the location of each below.
Ida’s Triada Relic Location
This relic is found in Lunatico Caves in Madrugada and is marked on your map with a purple diamond Treasure Hunt icon.
This is directly south of Fuego Valley in case you need any more help finding it. When you arrive at the marker you should find some Triada icons scrawled on the side of a cliff.
Open the orange box to get a note which will then kick-start the Ida’s Triada Relic quest.
Use the grapple rope to climb the cliff and follow the white markings on walls across ziplines and various jumps. You’ll eventually reach a room with Ida’s Triada Relic surrounded by purple smoke and a chest next to it.
Oku’s Triada Relic Location
This relic can be found in Valle de Oro, at the abandoned Fort Oro. When you arrive here, you’ll need to wait until it’s after 19:00 as the mission cannot be completed until then.
When it’s nighttime, head inside Fort Oro. You’ll now need to make your way through its various rooms, completing different puzzles and witnessing some supernatural and spooky goings-on.
In the room with the dining table, break the only mirror that doesn’t smash to find a switch to get into a secret security room.
In the security room, you need to press the middle button on the table, then the one on the left, and finally the one on the right to open another door upstairs.
Head upstairs in Fort Oro and interact with the piano. Dani will play it and reveal another secret room which has a Dungeon Key on a table.
Pick up the Dungeon Key, head back downstairs and use it on the locked door in the center of the main lobby area to get to the dungeon. Make your way past the armed statues and press the button on a pillar on the left.
An explosion will happen outside, head into the next room and look above the cannon on the ground to find a grapple point up.
Now use the zipline on the roof to get down into the outdoor garden area and then climb into the well.
Once you’re at the bottom, use a grapple point halfway up the well to find a hidden room. In here, you’ll find Oku’s Triada Relic, so pick it up and get on out of there.
Mimo Abosi’s Triada Relic Location
The third and final relic you’ll need to unlock Oluso in Far Cry 6 is found in La Joya in the El Este region. The start location of the quest is again marked on your map with a purple diamond and will lead you to the McKay Global Drill Site D.
After clearing out the enemies here, head into the dig site and shoot the orange padlock on the gate when you reach it.
Before proceeding any further, head back out of the dig site and destroy the big orange generator that has a cable leading into the dig site itself.
You can now head back into the dig site, past the gate and then take a turn to your left to get a Fan Room keycard that’s fallen out of the hand of someone who was crushed by a giant boulder.
Track back and continue on, swimming through the water and reaching another room. You can’t take the elevator here or you’ll die from the toxic gas, so look for the gate to your left which can be unlocked with the Fan Room keycard.
Interact with the button on the machinery here to kick the fans into life, clearing the toxic gas.
Return to the elevator shaft, grapple down to the bottom of the room and you’ll find Mimo Abosi’s Tirada Relic waiting for you to be collected.
Triada Blessings Part 2 Quest Guide – How to Get Oluso in Far Cry 6
With all of the relics recovered from around Yara, return to Oluwa Cave on Isla Santario. It’s in the Gran Guerrero Mogotes region of the island, just southeast of Clara’s camp.
Returning the Relics
Make your way to the back room where you started the Triada Blessings Part 1 quests and place the artifacts on the triangle symbol marked on the ground.
This will cause a new room to reveal itself, which has a treasure chest next to a tree.
Opening this will get you the following items:
- Truesight Stealth Supremo: This Supremo weapon lets you mark enemies in cover. When combined with La Varita, you can shoot enemies through walls.
- La Varita Resolver Weapon: A rifle that can fire through walls when Truesight has been enabled.
Fighting Oluso
As soon as you open the treasure chest, Oluso will be summoned and you’ll now need to prove your worth by battling it.
The main trick here is to keep moving. Every time you land a shot on Oluso, it’ll disappear and reappear somewhere else, more often than not behind you. Just keep shooting at it and keep moving and healing and you’ll eventually down Oluso.
When it’s downed, walk over to it and revive her with Triangle/ Y. You’ve now befriended the Oluwa’s Spirit animal, Oluso.
Summoning Oluso in Far Cry 6
Now that you’ve got Oluso, you can press the touchpad on PlayStation or View button on Xbox to open the menu and go to the ‘Amigos’ tab. Scroll down to the bottom to highlight Oluso, and then press X/ A to summon them as your Amigo.
That’s everything you need to know on how to get Oluso in Far Cry 6. For more tips, tricks and guides, head over to our wiki or see more of our coverage on the game below.
