One of the more unique quests in Far Cry 6 is called ‘Shock Therapy.’ It tasks Dani with realigning their ‘chakras’ by completing a number of non-violent tasks. In this guide, we’ll be talking you through how to complete the stage of the quest that requires you to ‘Feed Pelicans’ in Far Cry 6.
Feeding Pelicans in Far Cry 6
To feed a pelican, all you need to do is walk over to one and interact with it by pressing Square on PS4/ PS5, X on Xbox One/ Series X|S and E on PC.
The tricky part about doing this, however, is actually finding a pelican to begin with. The game doesn’t place a marker on your map for where to find them during the ‘Shock Therapy’ quest (which is why you’re probably so desperate to feed these big gullet birds), but instead gives you a vague idea of where to find them.
To find pelicans, you need to head to the coastal areas and walk along beaches and the paths just next to them. They can show up basically anywhere on the coast of the island, but there are guaranteed spots that you can find them, marked on the map below, courtesy of MapGenie. We’ve also circled an area in red that we had a lot of success finding pelicans in Far Cry 6.
The good news is that as soon as you’ve found one, you can just feed it three fish to complete the ‘Shock Therapy’ quest. Pelicans don’t run away or attack you, so use this to your advantage to make this quest that little bit easier.
That’s everything you need to know on feeding pelicans in Far Cry 6. For more tips, tricks and guides, head over to our wiki, or see more of our coverage on the game below.
