How to Get to Old Town in Dying Light

Recommended Videos

The city of Harran in Dying Light has two main areas for you to explore, the Slums and Old Town. The latter is a picturesque location, with tons of old architecture to look at while you madly dash away from zombies. If you’ve started Dying Light you’re probably wondering how to get to Old Town, and if you’ve been there you’re probably wondering how to get back. We’ll answer both of those questions.

To get to Old Town for the first time you’ll need to progress a ways through the main story. You won’t actually unlock the area until you have roughly 50 percent of the story completed, and the mission “The Saviors” will take you there. After that you’ll be able to travel between Old Town and the Slums at will, by using Dying Light’s fast travel system.

To head to Old Town from the Slums simply head to the tower, your main base of operations, and find the room with the word “Shop” written on the outside of it. Head inside the room, look to the left, and you’ll see a poster. Simply interact with the poster and you’ll be able to travel to Old Town.
