Is Dragon Ball FighterZ PS4 Pro Compatible?

Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball FighterZ is the brand new 2D fighting game based on the popular anime and manga series. Though the graphics and art direction are done in very much the same vein as the anime series itself, fans will find a lot to love about just the way the game looks. However, that doesn’t mean that the game won’t benefit from running on a PS4 Pro.

At the moment, there’s not a lot of info on the kind of support we’ll see for Dragon Ball FighterZ on a PS4 Pro. We do know that if you play the game on a regular PS4, it will run at 1080p resolution and a smooth 60 frames per second. For most people, this will be enough, as the high frame rate ensures that you’ll be able to react to your opponents quickly. However, the official PlayStation support page also states that “higher resolution will be supported on PS4 Pro.”

Though we don’t have any details on the kind of PS4 Pro support Dragon Ball FighterZ will receive, it’s safe to assume that Pro owners with an appropriate display will be able to enjoy the game in 4K resolution at the same frame rate. Hopefully, there will be other graphical and performance settings that we’ll be able to fiddle with once the game is out.
