The demon-destroying king of first-person shooters has returned once more in the form of Doom Eternal. Continuing the story from the 2016 Doom, Eternal introduces a whole host of new ways to brutally dispose of Satan’s spawn as they invade Earth and you fight them off across dimensions. Basically, prepare for lots of ‘metal’ and fast-paced dismembering of demons. If you’re wanting to get your hard drive prepared for installing the game, you may be wondering what Doom Eternal’s download and install size is.

Doom Eternal Install Size

  • PS4: 42.79 GB
  • PC: 50 GB
  • Xbox One: 40.02 GB

From our own PS4 copy, we can confirm that the install size is 42.79 GB. According to the PC minimum requirements, the game requires at least 50 GB on PC, and as we’ve linked to above, the Doom Eternal page on the Microsoft Store lists an ‘Approximate Size’ of 40.02 GB.

As is always the case, the install size of a game is always subject to change post-launch once more updates and patches are pushed out for the game. These can both increase and decrease the install size of a game, though it’s more often the former than the latter.
