How to Farm Titanium in The Division 2
The Division 2 is back with a brand new setting in Washington DC, and tons of new weapons and gadgets for players to try out. Here’s how to farm Titanium in The Division 2.
Like most other crafting materials in the game, Titanium drops are completely random when you’re looting boxes and bags found in the open world. This is certainly a viable way of getting Titanium, but if you want to cut the grind a little, there are some specific methods you can employ.
Dark Zone
Once you’ve unlocked the three Dark Zone areas in The Division 2, you’ll be able to start farming Titanium pretty easily. Just head to any of the areas, and start clearing out landmarks.
Landmarks are essentially like enemy territory areas, where you’ll have to kill a bunch of NPC enemies to liberate the zone. From our experience, Dark Zone enemies and chests seemed to have a higher drop rate for Titanium. The best way to go about farming the material is to then repeatedly clear out Landmarks.
Fighting Outcasts
There are three enemy factions in The Division 2: Hyenas, True Sons, and Outcasts. Only one of these factions has a chance of dropping Titanium.
The three factions have a chance of dropping a different crafting material when you kill them, and your best shot at getting Titanium is by going to an Outcast-controlled area of the map, and killing those enemies for a chance at the loot.
For reference, the following districts are controlled by the Outcasts:
- West End
- Foggy Bottom
- Constitution Hall
Story and side missions with Outcast enemies will also work fine for your farming efforts, so you don’t have to wander around the open world, looking for enemies to kill.
