Is Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Coming to the Nintendo Switch?

Recommended Videos

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT has been announced, bringing chaotic battles between over 30 years of Final Fantasy heroes and villains to consoles in 2018. While the game has actually already been out in Japan for two years as an arcade game, this will be the first time it’s made its way to western shores (outside of the PSP release, that is). Of course, with the Nintendo Switch releasing earlier this year and currently lacking some major third-party titles, some players may be wondering if Square Enix is bringing Dissidia Final Fantasy NT to the Switch.

Well, we have some bad news for you. Following the official announcement earlier today, it looks like Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is releasing exclusively on the PS4. No other platforms have been announced as of yet, and it’s unlikely that this will change between now and the vague ‘Early 2018’ release date.

Still, if Square Enix does happen to announced Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is coming to the Nintendo Switch, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you all know. For now, however, if you’re looking to jump into the action, you’ll have to pick up Sony’s current home console… or grab a PSP and play the original version!
