How to Play the Piano in Devotion
Devotion is yet another atmospheric horror game that’s taken the internet by storm, partially because of its unique 1980s Taiwanese setting. As you explore a seemingly abandoned house plenty of creepy stuff starts to happen, and you’ll need to solve a few small puzzles to keep things going. For one of those puzzles, here’s how to play the piano in Devotion.
When you get to Mei Shin’s room for the first time you’ll hear a metronome ticking, and there’ll be one lone bed in the room in the corner. Now leave the room and head back down the hall, then go into the bedroom across from the locked bathroom door.
In this room, there’s one mannequin with a camera, and another sitting on the bed with the doll. Take the doll from the mannequin and then head back into Mei Shin’s room. Put the doll on the little chair sitting on the bed and the rest of the room will appear, including a piano and that annoying metronome.
Now leave the room and go back to the locked bathroom door, which is now unlocked. You can find a music book sitting on the shelf by the mirror, so just pick it up and go place it on the piano. Voila, now you’ve got the piano to play and that metronome to stop, and you can carry on.
As you might imagine, this is just one piece of the puzzle to the whole game, and there are still plenty of stories to explore for the rest of the family members. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them in the comments below and we’ll do our best to get you an answer.
