How to Get Legendary Mods in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

As you grind your way to the max Power (Light) level in Destiny 2, it’ll start to become a real mission to move that number up just a tad. However, Legendary Mods can help you out significantly with that. When equipped to an item, they’ll increase its light level by five, so you’ll definitely want to get a bunch of these and equip them to your best gear.

To get Legendary Mods in Destiny 2, you’ll first need to reach 280 Power. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to combine three identical blue mods together to make Legendary Mods of that same type. If you’re struggling to get blue mods on their own, simply head over to Banshee-44 at the Tower and you can purchase them from him for 2500 Glimmer each.

Legendary Mods can also be gotten by leveling up Banshee-44. To do this, simply dismantle any of your old weapons or gear that you’re no longer using and turn in all of the Weapon Components into the robot. Fill up the bar once and you’ll be rewarded with items which can include Legendary Mods. It’s worth noting that the more you level Banshee-44 up, the better chance you have of receiving Legendary Mods, so be sure to dismantle old gear and hand over the parts to him whenever you can.
