Even the slightest bit of progress is hard-earned in Demon’s Souls, so you wouldn’t be blamed for being a bit paranoid about saving your own game whenever possible. That’s why we’re here to help you figure out how to do so as soon as possible with a guide on how to save your game in Demon’s Souls.
How to Save Your Game in Demon’s Souls
Saving your game in Demon’s Souls works much the same way as it does in every other Souls game; that being that it autosaves in a few different ways.
As you progress through each level, the game will autosave periodically to make a file of your progress. Most notably, it will save whenever you enter a new section of an area, die and respawn or defeat a boss. It’s fairly reliable, and even if the game crashes it’ll ensure you can boot the game back up either at or near the point where the game crashed.
You can also force an autosave in Demon’s Souls by exiting out of the game manually. This is done by opening up the Pause menu by pressing the options Button, scrolling over to the Return to Title option and then selecting it with the X Button.
You’ll then be able to resume your game from the exact point where you quit, whether you were in the middle of a level or chilling out in the Nexus.
That’s all there is to it really. It’s fairly easy to take advantage of once you wrap your head around it, and you should be able to save all of your progress without any issue before long.
