Death Stranding, the new game from the mind of Hideo Kojima, is finally out on PlayStation 4. While much of the game is based on being a lone delivery guy, there are actually multiplayer elements woven into a lot of what you do. So that you can help out other players, here’s everything you need to know about how to donate weapons and equipment in Death Stranding.
While helping out players isn’t something you have to do in Death Stranding, there’s no harm in being nice every now and again, especially if you have more materials and items than you really need.
You are able to put messages out for people, as well as let them use ladders you’ve placed around the world, but you can also give them weapons and other equipment if you don’t need them.
How to Donate Weapons and Equipment in Death Stranding
If you head to any terminal or postbox in the game, pressing square to interact with it, you can choose the Share Locker option that will appear.
Then, choose the Donate Weapons & Equipment option to start giving some stuff away. Just choose the stuff you don’t want any more and send it off to be donated. Be careful what you’re selecting though, because you cannot get something back once it has been donated.
From the same Share Locker menu, you can also select Claim Cargo to take some of the stuff that has been donated by other players.
