The basis of Daemon X Machina’s gameplay is the ability to change almost every single aspect of your Arsenal, from the basic paint and design, to the weapons you bring into combat. One of the finer elements of the game come with attachments you can put on weapons and armor, so here’s how to equip attachments in Daemon X Machina.
How to Equip Attachments in Daemon X Machina
You’ll probably play Daemon X Machina for a while before you really starting getting any attachments, as you mostly get them as rewards for missions or completing certain objectives.
However, once you do have them, you need to head to the console in the hangar and select Factory. From there you have two options.
Attachment Inventory will show you a list of all the attachments you own, and you can hold up to 999 at any time. If you gain any attachments past that, they’ll instantly be discarded.
Now in order to actually equip attachments pick the Customize Equipment option. From there you’ll be able to pick armor or weapons, and then the specific piece you want to install attachments on. Just be aware that you can only equip attachments if said piece of equipment has slots to do so.
The other thing you’ll want to know is that you can actually uninstall attachments from any piece of equipment, just by paying 400c a pop.
This is a great way to build up your library of attachments, by disassembling equipment that you’ve looted while out on missions. It might cost a little bit, but it’s nice to have a way to move things over to your most powerful pieces of equipment, letting you fine-tune your Arsenal’s loadout even more.
To summarize,
- To equip attachments head to the console in the hangar and select Factory.
- Now go to Customize Equipment and then pick the armor or weapons tab, and which specific piece of equipment you want to put attachments on.
- You can only put attachments on weapons that have open slots, but you can also uninstall attachments by paying 400c a pop.
That covers everything you need to know about how to equip attachments in Daemon X Machina.
