Developed by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is a brand new open-world RPG that’s just been released for PC and consoles. The game takes place in a metropolis called Night City, where all of its inhabitants are obsessed with body augmentations. And of course, the same goes for V as well. Here’s how to change your Cyberware implants in Cyberpunk 2077.
Changing Cyberware Implants in Cyberpunk 2077
One of the very first missions you’ll take on in Cyberpunk 2077 tasks you with visiting the Ripperdoc. This is where you’ll be able to install cybernetic implants in V’s body and enhance their physical and hacking abilities. Ripperdoc upgrades don’t come cheap, but eventually you’ll get to a point where you can start to pick and choose the kinds of implants you want on V.
To do this, bring up your character menu by pressing the touchpad or the View button on Xbox One. Then, hover over the Character option and select Cyberware.
From here, you should see all of the implants you currently have installed on V. All you have to do is hover your cursor over the the implant that you want to switch out, then press the X or A button. Then, choose the implant that you want to replace it with, and you’re all good to go.
As mentioned previously, you can purchase more implants and upgrades from any Ripperdoc in Night City; just make sure you have enough money to actually buy them. When talking to the Ripperdoc, you can also swap out your implants from there without having to enter your character menu. You’ll also be able to sell items to the Ripperdoc if you happen to need some extra cash.
That’s all you need to know about how to change your Cyberware implants in Cyberpunk 2077. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
