The Crew 2, like most racing games this side of the millennium, allows you to upgrade your vehicles to preform better in races. Considering the AI drivers rarely make that many mistakes in the game, this is a welcome feature that’ll help balance out the playing field a little. To upgrade vehicles in The Crew 2, you’ll first get loot from completing other races or events. If you’re struggling to get upgrade parts, focus on the single-player content and you should soon enough have a fair few performance upgrades you can make.

After you have a decent enough amount, go to the Vehicles tab, and then select Performance on the Vehicle that you want to upgrade. From there, you’ll have the ability to switch out different parts of your vehicle for better preforming ones. For example, you can improve your breaks, transmission and more. Once you’ve got it the way you want, press X to lock in your new and improved component and that’s it. Upgrading your car in The Crew 2 is quite simple, and for the most part, the choices are pretty straight forward. Just make sure that you are constantly challenging yourself and taking on new races in order to get more parts and loot for your car.
