How to Get All Trophies & Platinums in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Recommended Videos

With Crash returning to fans’ screens in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, the classics have each been given fresh trophy lists for players to make their way through. From the relatively simple to fiendishly difficult, these trophy lists have it all. Luckily for trophy hunters, however, there’s a shiny platinum to be had if you can 100% each of the lists. So without further ado, let’s get into how you can get all the trophies and platinums in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

To make this a little easier, we’ve broken this guide down game by game. Simply flick through the pages to get to the game you want to check out.

Of course, like with most trophy guides, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy’s trophy lists do have a few spoilers. If you’d like to avoid spoilers in your experience, you should turn back now.

Please note, we are still working on a couple of the explanations for some of the trophies on the first game’s list. We apologize for any inconvenience, but check back and we’ll have this updated very soon!

Crash Bandicoot Trophy Guide

  • The N. Trepid Crash Bandicoot (Platinum) – Collect all the Crash Bandicoot Trophies.
  • Papu Popped (Bronze) – Defeat Papu-Papu. This cannot be missed. If you’re having problems with beating this boss, be sure to check out our guide.
  • Ripper Ruined (Bronze) – Defeat Ripper Roo. This cannot be missed. If you’re struggling to get past this mental kangaroo, check out our guide.
  • Koala Konked (Silver) – Defeat Koala Kong. This cannot be missed. Koala Kong is one of the game’s main boss levels.
  • Pinstripe Patooey (Silver) – Defeat Pinstripe Potoroo. Cannot be missed as Pinstripe is one of the game’s bosses.
  • Nitrus Broken (Gold) – Defeat N. Brio. Cannot be missed as N. Brio is one of the game’s bosses.
  • Cortex N. Capacitated (Gold) – Defeat N. Cortex. Cannot be missed. N. Cortex is the game’s final boss.
  • Spin Doctor (Bronze) – In a single level, spin an enemy into another enemy twice. To spin an enemy into another, simply press the Square button as you run into an enemy that has another one behind them. As long as you’ve lined it up right, the enemy will spin back and hit the other behind them. Do this twice.
  • I Meant To Do That! (Bronze) – Spin away an Extra Life. When you see a Crash Bandicoot face spinning around, spin attack into it to knock it away.
  • That’s What Those Do! (Bronze) – Enter a Bonus Round after collecting three Character Tokens. Character Tokens can be found in crates in each level. You’ll need three to open a bonus round. Once you’ve found all three, look for the portal and head on through. The portal tends to be right by where you find the third character token.
  • A Hidden Gem (Silver) – Discover a Gem path after earning a Color Gem. Check out our guide on where to find the color gems. These will then open a number of portals you can hop onto in levels. Ride one of these and this trophy will unlock.
  • More Gems Are Better Than None (Gold) – Earn 13 Gems. See ‘The Ultimate Gem Path.’
  • The Ultimate Gem Path (Gold) – Earn 26 Gems. Check out our guide on where to find all gems.
  • Catch Me If You Can! (Bronze) – Earn 5 Relics. Relics are earned by beating the times for each level in Time Trial mode. Earn any five relics to unlock this.
  • Could Go… All… The… Way! (Silver) – Earn 10 Relics (gold or better). See ‘Practice Makes Perfect!’
  • Practice Makes Perfect (Gold) – Earn 26 Relics (gold or better). For this, you’ll need to beat at least the gold relic time on every level in Crash Bandicoot. It’s incredibly tricky to beat some of these, so memorize the levels as best as you can and just keep practicing.
  • No Holds Barred (Gold) – Defeat 5 enemies with Coco’s Spin. First, you’ll need to unlock Coco by beating the first five levels of the first two games. Once you’ve done this, look for Coco’s time machine by the first boss levels in each of the first two games. After this, simply defeat five enemies by using her spin attack. You use it the exact same way you use Crash’s. Check out our guide on how to unlock Coco as a playable character.
  • On Cloud 99 (Gold) – Earn 99 Lives. Self-explanatory. Rack up 99 in your Lives count and this trophy will pop.
  • Cortex’s Crazed Contest (Silver) – Earn the Key in Sunset Vista. Find all of the Cortex faces in the Sunset Vista level. Complete Cortex’s challenge and you’ll get the key.
  • Cortex’s Terrifying Trial (Silver) – Earn the Key in Jaws of Darkness. Find all of the Cortex faces in the Jaws of Darkness level. Head through the portal to Cortex’s Challenge and you’ll earn the key.
  • Feeeed Meeeee! (Bronze) – Die. Not a helpful description, but you need to die by the piranha plant enemies. Some players are reporting issues with the trophy unlocking on some levels. We can confirm that it definitely works on the Jungle Rollers level on the first island. Let them eat you and this trophy will unlock.
  • I See London, I See France (Silver) – Die. Again, not helpful, but all you need to do is get electrocuted by the Tesla coil obstacles in the Cortex Power level of Crash Bandicoot.
  • The Box That Broke the Bandicoot’s Back (Bronze) – Miss a lot of boxes. Basically, ignore boxes for a whole level and you should unlock this at the end.
  • The Crown Jewel (Silver) – Seek and destroy.
  • An Ancient Antiquity (Gold) – Do hard time.

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back Trophy Guide

  • The N. Credible Crash Bandicoot! (Platinum) – Collect all the Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back trophies.
  • Professor Pulverized (Bronze) – Defeat Ripper Roo. Cannot be missed.
  • Komodo No Mo (Bronze) – Defeat the Komodo Brothers. Cannot be missed.
  • Tiny Tricked (Silver) – Defeat Tiny Tiger. Cannot be missed.
  • Mech Wrecked (Silver) – Defeat N. Gin. Cannot be missed.
  • Cortex N. Adequate (Gold) – Defeat N. Cortex. Cannot be missed.
  • A Road Less Traveled (Bronze) – Discover a ‘?’ Bonus path. Look out for a platform with a ? on it. Step on this and you’ll be taken to a bonus path. The trophy will then unlock.
  • A Diamond in the Rough (Silver) – Discover a Gem Path after earning a Color Gem. Check out our guide on how to get all gems. Unlock the blue gem as it’s the easiest, and then complete the third level. This will open an alternate path for you to take marked by a colored gem platform. Hop on this and wait for the trophy to unlock.
  • Cheated Death (For the Time Being) (Silver) – Discover a Death Route. You’ll need to step on one of the platforms with a skull and crossbones symbol on it. To be able to use these, however, you’ll have to reach that point without losing a life. Do this and hop on to unlock the Death Route and the trophy.
  • Jumping the Jetboard (Silver) – Unlocked the Secret Exit in Air Crash. Rather than jumping on the surfboard at the very start of the mission, jump onto the crates to your right and make your way to a platform. That’s it!
  • Island Hopping (Silver) – Unlocked the Secret Exit in Bear Down. At the end of the level, after being thrown off the bear’s back, jump over the platforms in the water and land on the pink-edged iceberg. The trophy will unlock.
  • The Flora Flop (Silver) – Unlocked the Secret Exit in Diggin’ It. For this one, look out for when you’ve got two plants firing projectiles at you. There should be one on a platform standing to the left of the path. You need to jump and body slam on this plant. As long as you kill it, you’ll unlock the Secret Exit.
  • No Bear Left Behind (Silver) – Unlocked the Secret Exit in Unbearable. After you’re thrown off the small bear’s back after being chased by the bigger bear, turn around and slide-jump back the way you just came from. Walk over to the bear sitting on the ground and you’ll unlock this Secret Exit.
  • Hang in There, Maybe (Silver) – Unlock the Secret Exit in Hangin’ Out. When you fall down the second hole in this level and land in the water, walk towards the camera and you’ll find another hole you can jump down. Make your way through the room filled with drones and you’ll unlock this exit.
  • One Man’s Trash (Gold) – Earn 21 Gems.
  • Laser Powered Vengeance (Gold) – Earn 42 Gems. See our guide on how to get all gems.
  • Kick the Tires! (Bronze) – Earn 5 Relics. Relics are earned by beating the times for each level in Time Trial mode. Earn any five relics to unlock this.
  • Light the Fires! (Silver) – Earn 10 Relics (gold or better). See ‘Wumpa-Burner Engaged!’
  • Wumpa- Burner Engaged! (Gold) – Earn 26 Relics (gold or better). For this, you’ll need to beat at least the gold relic time on every level in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. It’s incredibly tricky to beat some of these, so memorize the levels as best as you can and just keep practicing.
  • A Helping Paw (Bronze) – Don’t feel guilty about jumping on him. In Warp Room 2, jump on the polar bear’s head 10 times. You’ll unlock a trophy and also get 10 lives, too!
  • Crash Cubed (Silver) – Fly, then die. Basically, die while you’re flying through the air. This is quite easy to do on the Bear Down level, once you’ve been thrown off the polar bear’s back.
  • Buzz Off! (Bronze) – Die as Crash. You need to be killed by a bee sting to unlock this one.
  • Cortex N. Furiated (Bronze) – Just “forget” it. Repeatedly. For this one, as soon as you start the game, simply start and quit a level three times without doing anything. Cortex will be furious and the trophy will unlock.
  • Boom Shakalaka! (Gold) – Defeat 5 enemies with Coco’s Double Leg Drop. Coco is a new playable character in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. For this one, unlock Coco and defeat five enemies with her Double Leg Drop move. This is done the same way as Crash’s body slam by pressing X and then Circle while in the air. Check out our guide on how to unlock Coco as a playable character.
  • 99 Percent Perspiration (Gold) – Earn 99 Lives. Self-explanatory. Rack up 99 in your Lives count and this trophy will pop.

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped Trophy Guide

  • The N. Vincible Crash Bandicoot! (Platinum) – Collect all the Crash Bandicoot: Warped trophies.
  • Tiny Trounced (Bronze) – Defeat Tiny Tiger. This trophy cannot be missed.
  • Penta’s Revenge (Bronze) – Defeat Dingodile. This trophy cannot be missed.
  • A Nefarious Trophy (Silver) – Defeat N. Tropy. This trophy cannot be missed.
  • Mech Wrecked, Again! (Silver) – Defeat N. Gin. This trophy cannot be missed.
  • Cortex N. Carcerated (Gold) – Defeat N. Cortex. This trophy cannot be missed.
  • Taking the Scenic Route (Bronze) – Discover a ‘?’ Bonus Path. Refer to the Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back ‘A Road Less Traveled’ trophy.
  • A Cut Above the Rest (Silver) – Discover a Gem Path after earning a Color Gem. Just like the previous games, check out our previously-linked guide on how to get all the gems, then use one of the newly available routes in eligible levels.
  • Not a Scratch (Give it Time) (Silver) – Discover a Death Route. See Crash 2’s ‘Cheated Death (For the Time Being)’ trophy.
  • Leave No Gem Unturned (Gold) – Earn 21 Gems. See Bringing Down the House.
  • Bringing Down the House (Gold) – Earn 42 Gems. Check out our guide on how to get all gems.
  • Giving 102% (Silver) – Earn the Gems in the bonus levels. See above.
  • Buckle Up, Boys, Buckle Up! (Bronze) – Earn 5 Relics. Relics are earned by beating the times for each level in Time Trial mode. Earn any five relics to unlock this.
  • Is There a Problem, Granny?! (Silver) – Earn 10 Relics (gold or better). See ‘Wumpa-Burner Engaged!’
  • Boo-yah, Grandma! Boo-yah! (Gold) – Earn 30 Relics (gold or better). For this, you’ll need to beat at least the gold relic time on every level in Crash Bandicoot: Warped. It’s incredibly tricky to beat some of these, so memorize the levels as best as you can and just keep practicing.
  • Category Five (Gold) – Defeat 5 enemies with Coco’s Savage Hurricane Spin. First, beat N. Tropy and unlock the Hurricane Spin upgrade. Then, use your spin attack as Coco five times on an enemy to unlock this trophy. Learn how to unlock Coco in our guide here.
  • A Stitch in Time Saves 99 (Gold) – Earn 99 lives. Self-explanatory. Rack up 99 in your Lives count and this trophy will pop.
  • UFO Xing (Silver) – Discovered the Secret Exit in Road Crash. Follow the road until you see an alien road sign on your left-hand side. Drive into it to unlock the trophy.
  • Getting Carried Away (Silver) – Discovered the Secret Exit in Dino Might! For this one, you’ll first need to get 10 Relics by replaying levels and beating the Time Trial times. Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to head to the Secret Area and grab the yellow gem from level 27. Once you’ve done this, return to the Dino Might! level and look for the yellow gem path just before you come across the dinosaur egg. When you start being chased by the giant dinosaur on this path, look out for the two pterodactyls on tree trunks. You want to jump onto the second one to activate the secret exit and unlock this trophy.
  • The Riddle of the Sphynx (Bronze) – Have your bazooka ready. In Tomb Time, use your bazooka to shoot either side of the sphinx’s mouth at the very start of the level and the trophy should pop.
  • Accept No Substitutes (Bronze) – Shoot the imposter. For this one, you’ll need to basically do everything else in the game. Get all the relics, gems… you get the picture. You should notice your game completion is at 104%. Now, you’ll need to revisit earlier levels and seek out a fake Crash Bandicoot. He’ll be dancing around and all you need to do is shoot him with your fruit bazooka. Do this once and you’ll unlock this trophy (and probably the platinum at this point, too).
  • Warts and All (Bronze) – Die. Let a mage kill Crash by turning him into a toad.
  • Keeping Crash Under Wraps (Silver) – Die. During the “Sphynxinator” level (16), hit one of the walking sarcophagus’ once and a mummy should pop out. Let Crash be grabbed by it and you’ll unlock this trophy.
  • Trigger Clickin’ Good (Bronze) – Shoot 5 of them in a single level. Once you’ve unlocked the bazooka, revisit the very first level and shoot the chicken at the start. Kill five chickens in this level to get the trophy. Alternatively, let the goat kill you after you’ve blown up the chicken and repeatedly kill the chicken every time you respawn.
  • Your Moment of Zen (Silver) – Avoid whatever he’s flinging at you. On the ‘Tomb Time’ level, you’ll come across a monkey popping out of four jars throwing stuff at you. Just dodge its throws until it ceases. Destroy the jars and you’ll see the monkey’s ghost ascending to the heavens. This trophy should then unlock.
