Is Crash 4 Coming to the Nintendo Switch? Answered

As of this article’s writing, there is no firm confirmation that Crash 4 is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

The reason for this is unknown, and many have speculated that it will release at a later date like the remastered N.Sane Trilogy did. However, this is only speculation, and neither Crash 4’s developer Toys for Bob, nor its publisher Activision, have made any clear indication that a port is on the way.

Will a Nintendo Switch Port Ever Be Released?

With that said though, the chances of Crash 4 eventually receiving a port on the Nintendo Switch are far from zero.

As mentioned above, the Switch did receive a port of the N.Sane trilogy at a later date. This showed that graphical constraints were a surmountable issue in terms of facilitating the release of the series on Switch, and that further entries might be able to pull off ports as well.

Likewise, demand for the game on the Nintendo Switch is high among the series’ fanbase. So long as it maintains strength in the coming months, it’s likely both Crash 4’s publisher and developer could decide the cost of investing in the development of a port is worth it to reach fans on another console.

Again though, nothing is confirmed yet, so don’t expect the announcement of a port to come anytime soon.

Hopefully this cleared up whether or not Crash 4 is coming to the Nintendo Switch. For more on the game, check out some of our other guides on topics like what the install size is and whether there’s online multiplayer.
