Can You Change Your Character’s Appearance in Crackdown 3?
In the Crackdown 3 campaign you can take your pick from a handful of agents to begin the story, and as you explore the game’s open-world you can find other ones to mix up your play style a bit. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering if you can change your character’s appearance in Crackdown 3 and customize your look. The answer is… sort of. Let’s explain.
Like we mentioned, to begin the game you pick an agent. Why anyone would pick someone other than Jaxon AKA Terry Crews but in video game form is beyond me… but I digress.
You don’t have to be Terry erm, I mean Jaxon, if you don’t want to be. There are six character appearances to pick from each with their own look and specific strengths to choose from if you want. For example, Zaya is naturally more agile and better at driving, while Jaxon gains strength and explosive skills faster.
The look that they have though is what it’s going to be for the entirety of Crackdown 3’s campaign. There’s no currency or shops to buy new outfits. There isn’t any uniforms to find around the open-world. The Agency has their standard look, and that’s just the way that it is.
The only thing you can do to change your appearance in Crackdown 3 is to simply change characters. You can find additional ones beyond the original six by going to the DNA symbols around the open world and unlocking more.
It’s a little disappointing, but amidst the chaos, one of the last things you’re going to have your eyes on is yourself.
That does it for whether you can change your character’s appearance in Crackdown 3. For more tips, tricks, and FAQs answered, be sure to check out our wiki guide. Or for our full thoughts on the entire game, check out our scored review.
