How to Get Longshot Kills in Black Ops Cold War

To get a longshot in Black Ops Cold War, you’ll need to eliminate an enemy from 30 meters away or further.

This can be done with any weapon, but obviously something like a sniper makes this far easier to achieve given their high bullet velocity and increased accuracy at range.

While Longshot kills are fairly easy to get in all game modes, there is a way you can make things even easier on yourself to grind out Longshot kills for all those gold weapon skins you’ve been eyeing up.

Grind Longshot Kills Fast in Hardcore Modes

That’s right, you’re going to want to head into any ‘Hardcore’ game mode. Doing so will reduce the amount of damage needed to eliminate a player and increase bullet damage.

In other words, you’ll only need a couple of shots landing to kill an enemy, rather than their spongier ‘normal mode’ counterparts.

You can also make getting Longshots easier by attaching the right kinds of weapon attachments to your weapons.

This is especially true for something like the MP5 that isn’t really supposed to be effective at long-range.

Anything that will reduce horizontal and/ or vertical weapon recoil is going to make things a whole lot easier for you.

That’s everything you need to know on getting Longshot kills in Black Ops Cold War. Head over to our wiki for more tips and tricks, or check out more of our coverage below.
