Customizing Weapons – Battlefield 1

Recommended Videos

Battlefield 1 has a huge list of weapons and equipment for you to use, and you also get the ability to customize quite a few of those. Unlike past Battlefield games that let you basically put any attachment on any gun, Battlefield 1 gives you a pre-selected list of options for each weapon that you can choose from. Here’s exactly how to customize your favorite guns.

Each class has a handful of weapons that they can unlock by gaining ranks, and there are multiple variations of each weapon that function slightly differently. This could be something that changes the sights and accuracy rating, making one variation of a weapon better at close quarters and one better at a distance. With each weapon you do have a degree of flexibility however, and can change a few things.

To customize a weapon, go into the weapon menu and select a gun either before battle or during your respawn on a match. If you hit the triangle button on PS4 or the Y button on Xbox, it’ll bring up a small menu. Here you can alter the style and design of optics you use, magnification level of your gun, recoil direction, and select which skin you want to use.

Make sure to do these minor tweaks for each weapon, so you can find whichever one matches your play style best. Make sure to check back with Twinfinite for more guides, tips, and tricks on Battlefield 1.
