Assassin’s Creed Valhalla offers players the opportunity to make key decisions to influence the outcome of quests. In the case of the Oxenfordescire arc, The Saga Stone, its final moments present a tough choice to either exile or let Gaedric look after Eadwyn. Here we’ll run through the outcome of both options so you’re better informed as to which option you’d rather make.
Should You Exile or Let Gaedric Look After Eadwyn? Answered
Although there are definitely story decisions that do impact Valhalla’s overall plot in meaningful ways, this particular one is fairly inconsequential.
It’s more a moral choice as to how you’d like the tale to conclude rather than creating a situation that’ll impact your experience later on.
In our review playthrough, we let Gaedric look after Eadwyn and heard no more from either of them after that moment.
In a later playthrough, another member of the Twinfinite staff had her exiled and didn’t really notice anything particularly notable occuring afterward.
We have, however, seen other players across the interwebs mention being attacked by a band of Saxons who yelled “For the Lady,” which may or may not have been related to Eadwyn.
If they were, it would make sense given her relationship with King Alfred and the fact that he and Eivor don’t see eye-to-eye later in the story.
In any case, the bottom line is that you don’t need to worry too much about this decision. Just do whichever you feel makes sense in the context of your experience.
That should give you everything you need to know the exile or let Gaedric look after Eadwyn decision in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to check out Twinfinite’s extensive wiki.
