This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Halo: The Master Chief collection is still up in the air. Matchmaking issues, which should have been fixed numerous times, plague many. People trying to play Halo: The Master Chief Collection online are hit with failed connections or long wait times even to this day. Maybe though, maybe 343 have finally fixed the issue. We sure hope so, because an Xbox One bundle including Halo: The Master Chief collection has been announced by Major Nelson.

The Kinect-less console bundle is said to cost $349 and will be available sometime this month. The game included is likely to be a code on a piece of paper rather than an actual disc copy of the game, so purchasers should be prepared for a download reaching in the excess of 65 gigabytes of data.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (the same version that hit Xbox 360 many moons ago), Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4. It’ll also come with access to the Halo: Nightfall series produced by Ridley Scott of Alien and Blade Runner fame.

The bundle will be available in most regions where the Xbox One is already purchasable.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection also gives you access to over 100 multiplayer and Spartan Ops maps. Now that sounds like a multiplayer fun-fest right there but, as we said before, these might not actually work so do be warned.

Does this bundle entice you to pick up an Xbox One finally? Let us know in the comments below.
