The Witcher 3 Will Take Your PS4 or Xbox One Close To Its Limits

CD Projekt RED’s upcoming game The Witcher 3 promises to push your PS4 or Xbox One to its technical limits, according to studio co-founder Marcin Iwinski. The game is expected to release within a year of the consoles’ launches, but Iwinski recently disclosed that The Witcher 3 is “fairly close” to maxing out the capability of the PS4 and Xbox One.

While The Witcher 3 won’t use new consoles to their absolute full capacity, but they’re coming pretty close. The decision to move from the 360/PS3 generation to the current gen happened around two and a half years ago so CD Projekt RED has had all the time in the world to get the most out of this new generation.
