A voting page has recently surfaced on the website allowing fans of the game to vote on what they would like to be included in the collector’s edition of  Just Cause 3. This is quite a new and novel idea put forward by Square Enix and is sure to go down a treat with fans of the series.

The content you can vote on to be included in the Just Cause 3 Collector’s Edition is as follows:

  • Mini Art Book
  • Destructible General Statue/ Puzzle
  • Diecast Vehicles
  • Map of Medici
  • Grapple Hook Replica
  • Backpack
  • RC Copter
  • 3 different Diorama’s of protagonist Rico Rodriguez in cool action poses.
  • A 9 inch Rico figure
  • Steelbook Case

Going on what we can normally expect from a collector’s edition, it is unlikely that Square would be likely to include a number of Diecast figurines and Dioramas, regardless of if they gained the maximum number of votes. However it is interesting to see them take an interest in what fans and consumers would like to receive when paying the premium price tag that comes with purchasing a collector’s edition.

Just Cause 3 will be the latest in the open-world action franchise and is set in the Mediterranean republic of Medici. Unfortunately Medici is suffering under the brutal control of General Di Ravello, a dictator who just can’t get enough of that power. Enter Rico Rodriguez, a man on a mission to destroy the General’s hold on power by any means.

What do you think of this idea? Do you think it’s laziness on behalf of Square and Avalanche? Or do you think it’s nice to see them taking an interest in what the fans want. Let us know in the comments below.
