This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

Xbox’s Larry Hyrb (Major Nelson) recently published a video that previews the social features that will be coming in the Xbox One update next month. The video is a discussion between Hyrb and Richard Irving, from the Xbox engineering team, about the highly anticipated features to be added in the new Xbox One update.

The video will show a quick look at improved party features (chat is on by default), improved friend sorting (favorites are at the top), and a recent players list (a return from the Xbox 360 UI). The update also surfaces some of the functionality, like sending messages, and makes it easier to invite friends to parties and games.

The Xbox One update should be going live just in time for Titanfall’s launch on March 11.
