Straight from Twitter, they posted:

Sadly Nicalis didn’t reveal when it will be available in Europe, though he did say that it would be released “as soon as we receive final approval from Nintendo of EU”.  As mentioned in his post, gamers will need a New Nintendo 3DS to play it. On The Binding of Isaac blog, it was revealed that the Xbox One version of the game will get the upcoming Afterbirth DLC, with no news on if the Nintendo versions will. They also released two videos of the game running on a Xbox One, which you can check out below.

Along with announcing the game, Nicalis also included an image of the Nintendo 3DS version of the game. In this version, players will control Isaac on the top screen while Isaac’s health, map and items will be on the bottom scene. The bottom scene will also display what items Isaac has equipped throughout the game as well as the current runs time.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a remake of the original game and it’s a randomly generated rouge like with over eight floors filled with challenging enemies and boss fights. While traveling through these floors, players can find over 450 items which will grant them new powers while also changing how Isaac looks. Players will also be able to get additional items by making deals with the devil, but these deals cost hearts. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth also adds 10 new characters, over 50 new bosses, 100 new regular enemies and fully upgradable shops.

Are you North American players excited to hear that The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is coming to Xbone, WiiU and New 3DS on July 23? Let us know in the comments.
