Ratchet & Clank Movie Gets an Honorable Celebrity Cast

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the notably exciting Ratchet & Clank movie has just had most of their cast revealed, and the line up is pretty fantastic.

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that the CG-animated film’s cast includes huge stars such as Paul Giamatti, John Goodman, Bella Thorne, Sylvester Stallone, and Rosario Dawson. Returning to the world of Ratchet & Clank will be the original voice actors from the game as well, this includes James Arnold Taylor to reprise his role as Ratchet, David Kaye for his role of Clank, Jim Ward as Captain Qwark, and Armin Shimerman as Nefarious.

Based on the popular PlayStation video game, Ratchet & Clank, the movie follows the adventure of Ratchet and his adorable robot sidekick, Clank, on their journey to stop an alien overlord by the name of Chairman Drek before he destroys all signs of life in the Solana Galaxy. Rainmaker Entertainment, PlayStation, and Insomniac Games have all come together to work in a collaborative effort in order for this movie to be possible.

“We are confident that Ratchet & Clank will delight fans with its authenticity and charm, while families everywhere will find a new family-friendly buddy duo to love,” Rainmaker Entertainment‘s CCO and President, Michael Hefferon told The Hollywood Reporter.

Ratchet & Clank the movie is slated to be released in theaters on April 29, 2016. Following the launch of the film, a partnered video game will also be released.
