Ragnarok Odyssey ACE is a revised edition of the previous Ragnarok Odyssey, complete with a slew of new features and an expanded story line. ACE has the player a hero accompanied by a party of either AI or friends connected via multiplayer and completing missions in a vast land filled with anything from dragons to giant shadow monsters. The combat is action-packed and features real-time movement, so there’ll never be a dull moment.

One of the newest key features in ACE is the ability to engage in cross-platform play between the PS3 and PS Vita. The cross-play is said to be seamless and looks to be a great way to encourage more people to enjoy the game with others. Players of the original Ragnarok Odyssey will be able to import their characters into ACE, but they’ll have to start the game over. In any case, any imported characters will easily get through early game content to reach the end of the original Ragnarok Odyssey, which is now the midpoint, story-wise, of ACE.

Ragnarok Odyssey ACE is hitting both the PS3 and PS Vita systems on April 1st. Both the digital and physical PS3 editions will retail for $39.99. The PS Vita will feature a physical limited edition which includes a soundtrack CD for $39.99 and a digital edition, without the soundtrack, for $34.99.
