Today, the Persona Fan Channel released the opening track for Persona 4: Dancing All Night. This rhythm game set in the Persona 4 world left many fans scratching their head. Demon hunting and dancing? Seems odd.

But combined with the quirky tone of the series and the outstanding J-Pop the series is known for, this pairing may be a match made in the midnight channel.

Taking place a year and a half after the end of Persona 4, Dancing All Night sees the main character return to Inaba after Rise, the female pop-star, return to the limelight as her superstar identity. However, rumors are flying all over Inaba that at midnight, a strange channel appears showcasing the missing  J-Pop group, Kanamin Kitchen.

If this opening theme is any indication, Persona 4: Dancing All Night will keep players nodding their heads in tune with the beat. While Atlus, the game’s developer, may be milking Persona 4, no off-shoot of the game seems to be half-assed. The game is scheduled for release sometime in 2015 for the PlayStation Vita.
