West coast and diehard fans of Final Fantasy may want to take heed of the happenings this coming March. Square Enix and the Gallery Nucleus will be hosting a Final Fantasy X/X-2 art exhibit from March 15 to the 26th. Even better, the event will fund a charity to aid victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
The exhibit will also tie in the impending launch of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD. Though the title isn’t due out until 3/18, the exhibit will indeed be selling copies of the game on the opening day of the 15th.
Yoshinori Kitase, producer, and Yusuke Naora, art director, will be signing the first 200 copies sold on that first day. Other events including demos and door prizes will be held, promising a fulfilling day for Final Fantasy fans.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD is the high-definition remastering of the PS2 classic and its sequel. While not the remake of FFVII fans have been hoping for, the release has generated a lot of excitement and will possilby reinvigorate the franchise after the mixed reception of the FFXIII series of games.
