Evolution Studios has revealed the next batch of cars coming to PlayStation 4 racer Driveclub, arriving in the form of the “Horsepower Expansion” pack.

The Driveclub expansion is set to bring five cars which are sure to have petrol-heads frothing at the mouth. The “Horsepower Expansion” includes the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione, La Ferrarri FXX K, McLaren P1 GTR, Nissan GT-R NISMO, and finally the Reanult Mégane R.S. 275 Trophy-R.

The video featured below shows off just how incredibly fun these cars are going to be to drive when they expansion is made available on July 28.

If you’ve got the season pass for Driveclub then you’ll be getting this for free next week. For those of you who don’t have the Driveclub season pass, you can pick up the “Horsepower Expansion” for $6.

Evolution Studios also assured fans that the team is still adding more and more content to Driveclub and will continue to support it in the future. It’s good to see that the studio is sticking to their guns following the rocky start to Driveclub’s release on PlayStation 4 in October 2014.

Upon its launch back in October last year, Driveclub was plagued with connectivity issues, rendering the online of the game largely unplayable. Evolution were frequently releasing updates and patches to try and resolve the matter, and even pulled the free PlayStation Plus version of the game until the issues were resolved.

Now that these problems have been resolved, Driveclub remains the best option for a realistic racer on Sony’s home console with an ever expanding selection of cars and some hugely enjoyable online.

Are you still burning rubber on the Driveclub tracks? Looking forward to setting some new times in these 5 new cars? Let us know in the comments below.
