Today at Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference, Bloodborne: The Old Hunters. This is the first expansion for Bloodborne, and it appears to be adding a ton of new content, with a whole host of new weapons (including bows!) and story content. It’ll be hitting Japan on November 24th, no release for the US or Europe was given, but we can likely expect something pretty close to that date.

While it’s not entirely clear who’ll be directing this expansion, given that game director Hidetaka Miyazaki has now moved onto working on Dark Souls 3, but considering just how well received the DLC for the Souls games has typically been, it’s probably safe to assume that this’ll be rather special as well.

Additionally, on December 3rd, an Old Hunters physical edition of Bloodborne will be released, containing the game and its expansion.

It’s nice to see that Sony’s rolling out with some pretty big announcements to kick off TGS, here’s looking forward to what else we’ll be seeing over the next few days.
