I like to think that lots of people have a similar love/hate relationship with Twitch to the one that I do. Twitch can be a fun place to watch fellow gamers play stuff you’re interested in, but like any popular website it can be filled with obnoxious personalities and toxic people.
While not every streamer on this list may be your cup of tea, it’s hard to hate too much on someone who uses their massive Twitch presence to brighten someone’s day or perhaps even change their life.
Let’s start this list out with perhaps one of the most well known streamers out there, Ninja.
Ninja Raids a Super Positive Guy
One day, Ninja decided to raid a small streamer by the name of Shootin_Lefty. And what Ninja may or may not have realized is that Shootin_Lefty was someone who could really use the support.
His sister recently passed away and his father was getting a kidney removed. Rough stuff.
What makes it especially heartwarming is that Shootin_Lefty genuinelly seems like an incredibly positive and likable person. He was super hyped and excited to talk with his new viewers, about himself and how he’s trying to stay positive in the midst of a lot of not so great things going on in the background.
There are a lot small streamers out there who have the personality and the skills to make it, they are just waiting for a big break like this to get the momentum going. Hopefully things worked out well for Shootin_Lefty after this exciting day.
Shroud Doing Nice Things Through Twitch on the Regular
Another big ex-Twitch & ex-Mixer winner, Shroud, is well known for using his massive following to do some good in the community.
We have a couple of examples for you here, all of which should brighten your day. Above, Shroud raids a musician with health issues and a child to look after. After being overcome with emotion, she does her best to play a song.
Then, one of my personal favorites (above), Shroud raids a random 14 year old on his birthday and absolutely makes his day. Too bad, according to him, he’s not even good at the game that he’s streaming that day.
Finally, if you just want to see a bunch of Shroud raids, you can check out a compilation below.
Mr Beast Raiding and Donating
MrBeast is one of the most generous figures in gaming, period. He has a massive following of 38 million subscribers on YouTube and is never afraid to share some of the wealth.
His favorite past time is going on Twitch and donating thousands of dollars to random streamers.
All he asks for in return, usually, is to sing a few lines of a song for him, to play a few bars on the recorder, or to stop dissing Pewdiepie’s chair.
Just for the record, the title is clickbaity since there’s no single $40,000 donation, but he does spread that much around across multiple people across the whole video.
Considering all the money MrBeast gives away, we’ll let that slide.
Twitch Raid Pranks
This YouTuber by the name of WillNE, has a massive following as well, but he likes to have a little fun, clearly, with his Twitch raids.
He’ll send a massive amount of viewers over to a Twitch channel, which is awesome, but he’ll also tell his viewers to spam the channel with things like: there’s a spider on your shoulder, or that someone sniffed their seat while they were up.
While maybe a little bit cruel, if I were these small streamers, I’d happily take the good with the bad.
Compilation Time
There are so many examples of big streamers being very cool to small streamers. I personally can’t get enough.
So to end this article right, here’s a nice collection from YouTuber Supreme Gaming that captures a bunch of emotional and hysterical reactions.
