4 Resident Evil Village Details You Might Have Missed During the Showcase

Last week, Capcom dropped a new trailer and gameplay video for the upcoming Resident Evil Village, the latest mainline entry in the long-running survival horror franchise. We got a good look at some new characters, the new gothic horror setting, and here are a few tiny details you might’ve missed from all that new footage.

Ethan’s Wedding Ring

Ethan Winters is coming back as the main protagonist of Resident Evil Village, and the game follows up from the canon ending of the previous game, where you save Mia and escape together. While it’s not clear exactly what Ethan and Mia have been doing since the ordeal with the Bakers and Evelyn, it’s clear that they’ve made amends and have started a life together.

Ethan’s wedding ring is a highly visible item on his left hand when we view things from his perspective in the gameplay trailer, and when we see Chris again in the new trailer, we also see him taking away a baby who we can only assume is Ethan and Mia’s daughter.
