Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition

how to change costumes in tales of vesperia definitive edition, tales of vesperia costumes, get new costumes, change costumes

Tales of Vesperia is one of those rare games that has simply aged beautifully over the years, and that’s because the game’s graphical style is wonderfully timeless. The anime cutscenes look good as well, and they certainly don’t look dated, unlike the ones from the older Tales of Symphonia.

When you’re in-game, you get to ogle at Vesperia’s pretty cel-shaded graphics, and marvel at the detail that’s gone into designing each of the characters.

Gameplay-wise, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition can be a little rough around the edges, especially with the combat system during the early hours. However, almost everything else about the game still feels modern enough.

While it’s not the most graphically-intensive game on the market right now, Vesperia still sports a very bright and vibrant color palette, making it a delight to look at. Environments will shift and react to you in very slight ways, and overall, this is just such a pretty JRPG that you could it admire for hours and never get sick of it.

Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 2, Licker

Not only is the Resident Evil 2 remake a pretty damn good video game, it’s also one of the most beautiful games in the series, alongside the also very excellent Resident Evil 7 from 2017. With Capcom’s new RE Engine, Resident Evil looks better than ever, and there are so many little details and intricacies to appreciate while playing.

For starters, the RE2 remake is probably the goriest game in the series yet, as you can clearly see the little brains and guts spilling out of the zombies as you shoot them. Shooting them in specific places will cause visible damage on their bodies as well, which means you can dismember limbs and blast their jaws off.

The police station itself is also beautiful, and the lighting effects help to make the game feel that much more atmospheric. Characters glisten in the moonlight when they’re in the rain, you can see reflections off shiny walls, and even the sinewy, fleshy mess that is G-Birkin has never looked more glorious.

Kingdom Hearts III

Kingdom Hearts 3, How To Save, Save Points, Save Spots, Save Game

Without a doubt, Kingdom Hearts III is the most visually appealing game we’ve seen in January 2019. Every world in this game is just so incredibly vibrant and lovely, but they’re still themed differently enough so you can differentiate them easily.

What’s most impressive about Kingdom Hearts III is how far the graphics have come since the first game’s PS2 days. Elsa from the Frozen world actually looks as good as Elsa from the Frozen movie. Every Disney world you visit in this game makes you feel like you’re actually being transported to the respective Disney movie itself.

Not only that, Kingdom Hearts III also features some cool visual details that you’ll notice if you look closely. For instance, freaking Mickey Mouse has some light freckles, and you can even notice little textured details on the characters’ clothing and armor.

Just like its predecessors, KH3’s graphics also have that timeless feel to them, with the cartoony style that Square Enix has adopted here. Kingdom Hearts III is a beautiful game through and through, we love it.
