Get the Bow and Arrow Early On

When you first get to enter the Town Tool shop in Mabe Village, you’ll find a bow and arrow there for a whopping 980 rupees. At the beginning of the game, you most likely won’t have anywhere near this many rupees in your pocket, but we recommend getting this item as quickly as you can.

Not only is the bow one of the best items in the game, but it can help you with some tricky puzzle solving early on in the game and can really make some of the harder bosses a piece of cake.

You can cut lots of grass to farm rupees or play some games at the Trendy Game to get some rupees, which is the preferred method.
