Ubisoft’s support of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla since its launch in 2020 has been hugely impressive, with numerous updates on either side of two meaty expansions that added new story content to Eivor’s epic Viking saga across Europe. Fast forward nearly 18 months, and the developer has just released an expansion that dwarfs the other two, but is Dawn of Ragnarok included in the season pass? Here’s what you need to know.
Is Dawn of Ragnarok Included in the Season Pass? Answered
No, Dawn of Ragnarok is not included in the season pass. Unlike the previous two expansions, Wrath of the Druids, and Siege of Paris, which were part of the package, Dawn of Ragnarok is a standalone purchase.
This is perhaps understandable when you consider the expansion takes a whopping 30+ hours to complete, but it’s still likely to come as a bit of a disappointment to players who had expected all of Valhalla’s new content would fall under the season pass umbrella.
How Much Is Dawn of Ragnarok?
Dawn of Ragnarok costs $40 USD, and it can be purchased digitally via the Ubisoft Store for PC and PS Plus/Xbox Live on consoles. For the latter, simply navigate to your console’s storefront and search for Valhalla, and you will see Dawn of Ragnarok as a related DLC.
So, is it worth your money to buy? Well, you’ll have to stay tuned to Twinfinite to hear our review, which is in the pipeline for early next week once we’ve finished everything Dawn of Ragnarok has to offer.

Otherwise, that’s everything you should need to know about whether Dawn of Ragnarok is included in the season pass. For more on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you can read our original review of the game, the Wrath of the Druids DLC and Siege of Paris DLC.
