New World: How to Harvest a Squash

Developed and published by Amazon Games, New World is an ambitious pirate-themed MMORPG that features large scale inter-faction PvP wars, as well as player-driven economies in all of its different regions. Like most other MMOs on the market right now, there are also tons of resources you can farm if you’re looking to get into the crafting system. Here’s how to harvest a Squash in New World.

Harvesting a Squash in New World

Squashes are a tier 2 food item you can find in New World, and it’s used for cooking various meals, and can also be used to prepare Travel Rations, which you can never have enough of. They’re actually pretty easy to harvest, and all you need is a sickle (the tier doesn’t matter), and you’re good to go.

Simply head up to the Squash plant in the open-world, then hit the E key to start harvesting. Once you’re done, it’ll get deposited into your inventory automatically.

However, the tricky part comes in trying to actually find them. If you don’t know where to look, it might take a while before you’re able to get your first Squash. Like most other raw foods such as Potatoes and Carrots, they’re typically found growing on farms that you see near the roads and fields.

They respawn fairly quickly too, so you can always just hang around the area and wait for them to respawn if you want to farm a large amount.
