Diablo 2: Resurrected is an incredibly faithful port of the original classic action-RPG to modern consoles with a fresh coat of paint. While most of the game is, aside from the visuals of course is, untouched, Blizzard is using this re-launch as an opportunity to do a fresh start with the Ladder system and put a few unique seasonal weapons and armor to spice things up. Naturally, then, you might be wondering when Diablo 2: Resurrected’s ladder will actually start. Here’s what we know so far.
When Does Diablo 2: Resurrected’s Ladder Start?
So we hate to be the bearer of non-news, but at the time of this writing, no one actually knows when the ladder will start in Diablo 2: Resurrected.
Back in August, Blizzard said in a community post that they wanted to first make sure they had more precise information before updating fans on what their timing will be for the start of the ladder season. However, they also mentioned September as the timing for this and, well, this post is going live on Sept. 30 so unless the update comes today, it’s going to have to come sometime in October at best instead.
Hopefully, Blizzard will update fans soon on what is going on with Diablo 2: Resurrected’s ladder. In the meantime, get your permanent non-Ladder character going, or perhaps work on a Hardcore character if you’re looking for something challenging and different to mix things up if you have already burned through the regular game’s content. That would be impressive if you did especially considering the game has only been out a week.
When Blizzard updates fans on the timing, we’ll be sure to update this post.
That’s all for what you need to know about the season 1 ladder start date Diablo 2: Resurrected, at the time of this writing, launch week. For more Diablo 2: Resurrected check out some of our most recent guides and articles down below.
