Psychonauts 2: How to Skip Cutscenes

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

It took a long while but Psychonauts 2 has finally arrived and the story of Raz will finally continue directly where the first game left off. Psychonauts 2 has a very rich storyline that plays out like a Saturday morning cartoon, and personally, I rarely found myself wanting to skip anything I hadn’t seen before. That said, sometimes you do want to skip cutscenes so here’s how to do just that in Psychonauts 2.

How to Skip Cutscenes in Pyschonauts 2

To skip a cutscene, press and hold the B button if you’re on Xbox or the Circle button if you’re on PlayStation. You need to hold it for a few seconds as marked on the top right-hand corner. If you see the button filling up on the top right, that means you can skip and it will eventually go ahead and move the action along if you hold it long enough.

While most cutscenes can be skipped, you might find that there are some that you can’t. You’ll just need to tough it out in that case.

Even if you enjoy the story as I do, skipping cutscenes in Psychonauts 2 may be useful in times where you die and restart and are forced to rewatch what you have already seen. That may be a bridge too far, even for story lovers like me, so try to remember that you can do that in these cases.

That’s everything you need to know on skipping cutscenes in Psychonauts 2. For more tips, tricks and FAQs answered check out our most recent Psychonauts 2 content right here.
