Well, worry not. We’ve tested out what happens when you give this rare vintage to every possible recipient in order to help you get the best reward for your hard work.
Give the Spectrum Original to Samuel, Emily, or Salina in Murder on Eridanos? Answered
To cut right to the chase, it doesn’t matter who you give the Spectrum Original to in Murder on Eridanos.
No matter who you give it to, you’ll be treated with the same reward: A lump of XP for completing the side quest and 1,250 credits. This remains true even if you’ve completed the special dialogue prompts available through two of the three characters.
As such, who you give it to can depend entirely on what you think of each character what you’d like to imagine happens afterward.
If you’d like to see Rizzo’s get sued into oblivion, give it to Samuel.
On the other hand, if you want the public made aware of what dangerous substances are in Spectrum products, then go with Salina.
If neither sounds good and you just want to help someone get rich off the drink’s secret formula, then you can hand it over to Emily.
That’s all there is to it really. It’s definitely meant to subvert your expectations for the quest, and force you to accept a quest outcome that isn’t immediately sorted into black or white.
Whether or not you find this worth the effort of finishing the quest, though, will come down to your personal preference.
Hopefully this cleared up whether you should give the Spectrum Original to Samuel, Emily, or Salina in Outer Worlds’ Murder on Eridanos DLC. For more on the game, check out our guide wiki.
