With the release of Hitman 3 later this month on PS4, Xbox One and PC, PlayStation owners will get a little exclusive. Hitman VR will offer players the chance to play through all of the trilogy’s levels from the perspective of Agent 47, if you already own the previous two games. From the trailer, it looks set to bring a whole new level of immersion and creativity to the sandbox assassination gameplay, and it’ll be exclusive to the PlayStation VR platform at launch. But that’s got some fans planning to pick the game up wondering whether or not Hitman VR will be coming to PC.
Hitman VR PC Release Date
At the moment, it’s unclear as to whether or not Hitman VR will come to the PC platform. In terms of what has officially been announced, Hitman VR will be exclusive to the PlayStation VR platform.
That’s largely due to the fact that Hitman 3 is releasing exclusively on the Epic Games Store on PC on Jan. 20 alongside the Google Stadia, PlayStation, and Xbox versions of the game. The majority of PC VR titles have found their home on the popular Steam platform.
Hitman 3 will then come to Steam in Jan. 2022, and it’s then that there’s a chance we could see Hitman VR come to PC. It’s worth pointing out that there is no confirmation that this will, in fact, be the case, though. For now, you’ll just have to cross your fingers and hope that IO Interactive makes that announcement a little closet to the Steam release date.
Once IO Interactive does make any announcement regarding the Steam version of Hitman 3, or Hitman VR coming to PC, we’ll update this post and let you know.
